We had wonderful conditions
for the 2013-2014 season opener at the Berthoud Gun Club. The
scores were high and shoot off's were fun and exciting. The AA
class was tight with one target each seperating the top 3
places, in the A class it was the same way, with 4 shooters tied
for 4th place. The B class had the top for places tied, and
after 3 rounds of regular shoot offs and one round of miss and
out, Grady came out on top. The C class saw brothers Brenden &
Bo tied for 1st & 2nd, after the dust settled Brenden came out
on top. |

It was another beautiful
Colorado fall day for shooting this month. We had great scores
and the shoot offs were plenty.
In the AA class zach bested the field by 5 targets to
take the win outright. The A class had a 4 way shoot off for the
top 4 spots, after one round Jess topped the class with a 25,
one target down was Jared, and Grady took the 3rd spot by 1
target. The B class was just as tight, 4 shooters went to the
line when the dust settled Austin came out on top, and Travis
snuck by Jason by one target. In the C class the ladies were
giving lessons to the boys, after a one round shoot off Shelby
came away with the class title. |

To say it was cold would be an
understatement...It was real cold, with tempatures in the low
teens at the start of practice. By the time the tournament
started the sun came out and got it up to the high teens for the
rest of the afternoon. The scores were still very good for the
conditions, the AA class saw a 99 by class winner Brett, the A
class had a 95 for the lead follwed closely with mid 90's and
high 80's in the rest of the class. the B Class was topped by
Brenden with his best score of the year, Arek was the lone C
Class shooter this month. The weather held a lot of the shooters
off which is going to make it real interesting for the season
high over all points standings. |

It was a typical January day in
Colorado for this shoot, well...maybe the 30 to 40 mph wind
gusts made it a little harder to shoot. The AA class had a near
pefect with Brett at 98 for the outright win. The A class had a
tie for 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th, one round of shoot offs was all
it took to determine the winners. The B Class was knotted for
1st & 2nd, another one round shoot off was all it took to break
the tie. The C class was close, but the ladies beat the young
men out right. |

Another fine shoot in Watkins at
the Golden Gun Club, a little chilly, but for the most part a
good day to shoot. the scores were exceptionaly high for the
foggy backgroud, ties in all classes for the top 2 spots were
all settled with one round shootoffs. |

This had to be the best
conditions we have had in many years for the March CYT shoot.
Warm, no wind, just a beautiful Colorado Spring day. Once again
Brett shot like a champ in the AA class, besting the rest by 5
targets, a tie for 3rd and 4th place saw collegiate shooter on
spring break Jacob outlast Greg to take the spot. In the A class
the leaders were tied after the program, a one round shoot off
was all it took to break the tie by 1 target. The B class was
also knotted after the program by the leaders, a one round shoot
off settled the score with Brenden comming out on top. No ties
in the C class, but just missing the leader was 2nd place
finisher Rookie shooter Arek that has been shooting up a
class all season. |
